The primary school affiliated to Guangdong Teachers' College covers an area of 31 mu. With the support of the municipal Party committee, the municipal government and the competent education department, it is a full-time private public assistance primary school invested and expanded by Kaiping Hydropower Construction Group Co., Ltd. In 1994, it was rated as the first class school in Guangdong Province. In March 2003, it was rated as Kaiping model primary school, which is the only model primary school in Kaiping. The school was designated as Kaiping juvenile art training center in 2006.
